Decaf Green Tea

So you want to find out more about decaf green tea? Well I don’t want to disappoint you, but there is not to much to talk about.
As we know, green tea contains caffeine. That means decaf green tea is caffeine free. Simple!

If you are reading this article, you are already aware of the green tea benefits. So here pops out the question:

Is decaf green tea as efficient as the regular one?

And I guess the answer is YES! Of course it is! The tea stays the same. Is the caffeine that goes away. But not all clear, are you!? Well, I will just continue with the FAQ: ‘How’ and ‘Why’ people use decaf green tea.

How do they manage to take out the caffeine?

Here are the two methods:
1. The one where they use ethyl acetate. This method shows that it retains 30% of the polyphenols that are healthy and beneficial.
2. The one where they use water and carbon dioxide. This method has proven to be more efficient in terms of decaf tea quality and it is known to be more natural.
This is why the second method is recommended, so you get the most out of your decaf green tea.

Why do people choose decaf green tea?

This is a rather subjective questions, but I guess we have some straightforward answers.
It is said that you can drink as much green tea as you like because it has no side effects. I would add to this statement that green tea contains caffeine. That means too much tea is not good for you and will probably cause an anxiety state. As for a green tea and weight loss program that might not be indicated for pregnant women. You don’t have to panic. It is just an opinion to be tempered in everything that you do.
Another good reason is the bitter flavor contained by regular green tea. Tea drinkers consider this to be the authentic taste. Other people just don’t like it, and go for the decaf green tea.

In the end I guess it is just a matter of taste, or just the trends you live in. Who knows?! Anyhow, you should always know a little bit about what you eat, drink or talk about. It is not a rule for that, but makes you more secure.
